Save the Date! Food Hotel China, 7th-9th November, 2016
4 New Zealand food and beverage companies exhibited at the 19th edition of Food Hotel China in Shanghai in November. In the major international food hall, Emerald Foods exhibited 2 of their brands - New Zealand Natural "Made in New Zealand, Enjoyed Worldwide" and Killinchy Gold. The Honey Company exhibited their export ready high quality honeys and honey products. Nelson-based seafood exporter Sealord, who are already established in China, also exhibited at FHC for the first time in the specialised Seafood and Meat Hall.
In total, 2,150 international food and wine exporters and distributors exhibited at FHC China 2015 and they met with 66,561 trade buyers from all over China. "Results... have proved beyond any doubt that despite the negative press of China's GDP growth forecasts, the market for imported food and wines is still growing rapidly and expanding at a faster rate year on year. The driving force for this demand is China's quality conscious, middle class and hospitality trade", Brendan Jennings, GM of China Exhibition Services (FHC organiser).
What sets FHC China apart from other food and beverage trade shows in China? FHC China is a trade show focused on buyers of quality imported products and not Chinese made food and beverages.
- Exclusively for imported products
- Exhibitors are international suppliers selling to China, or international brands made in China
- No Chinese food manufacturers can exhibit at FHC
The 20th and next edition of FHC China will be held over the 7th-9th of November 2016 in Shanghai. Space has been secured for New Zealand food and beverage companies to exhibit in the major international food hall and Early Bird pricing is available up until March 25th 2016 for companies to secure rates at USD $400 per sqm.
